Last week, walking through a parking lot.
Abby: “Mama, I want to walk with my eyes closed, will you hold my hand?”
Me: “Of course Lovey.” And, I take her hand and lead her through the parking lot, marveling at the complete 100% trust little kids have in just about anyone.
I wonder when that trust starts to lessen and we begin to be jaded adults, I think as I walk Abby straight into a parked car and she smacks her knee.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! It’s better to learn it from you I suppose. Hey–thanks for the cloth diaper tips–the vinegar trick was totally key. No more funk smell! I’ve also been messing around with the doubling up at night and it seems that we’ve finally found a solution that will get him through until about 5am. He can’t really put his legs together, but at least his jammies stay dry and I get to stay asleep. Now go look at the cool stuff I made.
