Abby saw this youtube video several weeks back. It’s of a teenage girl sitting in the back of a car beatboxing like a champ. It’s pretty cool. If you haven’t seen it, go right on ahead and have a looksie. I’ll wait while you watch. . . go on, watch it:
So, like I said, Abby watched this several weeks ago and we thought nothing of it. Then, yesterday, she just up and starts beatboxing in her room at my mom’s house. Grandmama (my mom) asked, “is she rapping?” No, she’s beatboxing!
We got this little video clip of it in the car on the way home today. So funny.

Abby is such a gem! My heart feels like it’s just going to explode watching her, you guys are a great team. I cannot believe that Julia is making all those sounds through her mouth-how does she create all those layers at the same time?!!! AMAZING!
She is SO CUTE! I love the scrunchy smile she gives around the :14 mark. And the cute little pose at the end made me crack up. :-) Quite a little character you’ve got on your hands!
Loved meeting her the other day. You tell her that her Seattle friends, Kylie and Rebecca, will always have time for a playdate when she comes to visit.

So Abby is very good at this!!!! Love it, what a great Beat Boxing star. How did someone come up with the name?? for this unusual process of noise making (Only a grandmother would ask this eh?)

seriously? abby is my hero. i cannot wait to show my kids both of these videos. your daughter is awesome, and what good parenting to show her such an inspirational video on youtube!
