Even the Zucchini is Sweating!

It is hot.  Really hot.  We’ve been eating cold salads, crudites with hummus (I finally learned how to say “crudites” crew-duh-tay and also learned that it means “rawness” in french. . . it’s just cold veggies cut up and served with dip, but I think saying “crudites” sounds fancy and fancy is fun) and sushi.  If it cools down this weekend, I’ll consider cooking again!
Since the summer squash is starting to show up in our crop-shares, I have a few new (to me) recipes for us all to try out.  I have not test-driven this week’s recipes due to the heat.  If you try these and have tips or reviews, let us know!  Stay cool, Carrie.

Alison over at Alison’s Lunch always has *really* good recipes.  I can’t wait to try this one out:  Lemony Sauteed Zucchini.
