Why my butt is 5 pounds heavier now.
Well, thanks Melissa. Now I can’t stop making (and eating) these cookies.
Oh, they’re all over the blog-o-sphere: here and here to get ya started. They are, hands down, the best cookies EVER! I linked to the recipe on Face Book last week and have had 4 different people tell me that they made them too and love them. Husbands signed in on their wives facebook accounts (this happens. . . not really sure why the husbands don’t just get their *own* facebook accounts so they can spy on us!. . .but that’s a different post) and requested these cookies.
I.can’t.stop.eating.them. The best part? You don’t have to remember to put butter out to soften. You can do these on the spur of the moment since you melt the butter. I just cream the wet stuff right in the pan I melt the butter in (saving a bowl to wash). YUMMY!

Yummmmers…a little different (melted butter) than Toll House recipe. I want one NOW. Love MOM
I want one NOW too- these cookies ARE big and delicious. Your commentary is nearly pornographic- very appropriate for how eating these cookies makes one feel.
Sounds yummy and very similar to my favorite CC cookie recipe: http://www.cookiemadness.net/?p=1941 Might have to pick up some chocolate chips tonight…
Here you go . . .Cookie Monster on Colbert Nation! Really funny.
ColbertNation.com video – Un-American fruit is now the number one snack for children under six, and Cookie Monster’s to blame.
