Foodie Friday: Garlic Scapes

Scapes!!!!

Those curlicue greens in the shares last week are the green tops of garlic plants and they’re called Garlic Scapes (or Garlic Winkies out at the farm).  They are great to chop up and add to stir fries or scrambled eggs.  You can also make a whole host of other stuff with them.  Here are a few ideas.

    Garlic Scapes are so yummy. I posted about them yesterday. We made homemade pasta and garlic scape pesto. FANTASTIC. Enjoy your scapes…however you eat them. -Debbie
